I have a replacement engine for Advanced and I think it was around 2200 for the engine and install. Had a local buddy do it who has been into cars for a long time. He and his brother where restoring an old Camaro, be-a-utiful car!
Anyway, I have put about 10k miles on it and no problems. Although the
tranny did die shortly after the engine (it needed a rebuild too) and the crate engine was making more than twice what the stock engine was, lol. I got a long block so it got new heads, but my intake, carb, and other things were swapped out with no problem. I say go for it.
