well just got backl from the track again and to my dismay i find im still even after the new clutch pack spining 1 tire well i took off my alum fan had 5 fixed blades way lighter then the stock clutch fan to see if that would help my temp it didnt but instead of a 14.4 i ran a best of 14.6 if i ran the **** out of it!!! i shifted at 6k normally 5,500 but it did 14.7 so the stock fan robs .3 on the et even more time with a electric i never would have though that much diff everything was the same gas parts ect only diff was new tranny fluid with a touch of lucas and that stock fan! im ripping that **** off but on the bright side i did beat a 5.7L Gto Auto buy a full sec! man cars piss me off sometimes lol

You have to remember your previous best was a 14.9? when only one of your wheels was goin for you in the past. I think it has more to do with only one wheel goin for you than anything.

well i had the best 60ft tiem ever 2.15 so i dont think the rear is an issue and it was about the same as last time and i ran it harder this time and i alway leave the hood open and push the car i can tell when i change the fan that it when i put the stock back on it felt kinda dogy oh and its more like .2 i picked up .1 by shifting at 6k not 5,500

OH I was under the impression that you were running an electric fan. Yeah it probably had more to do with the weather than. You'd be surprised at how the weather messes with these cars.

Differant day differant (weather,track condition,times)
I could be way off but wouldnt it take 25-30 or so HP to drop .3 off a 1/4 mi time?? (corrections welcome)
Dropping a stock fan wont net that much, but I belive you when you say you can feel the differance in power

like i have said several time's its been the same temp all month and the only change has been that fan i though i might get 14.5's with it but no this much slower .2 if id drove it the same way the proff is there better 60ft and 1mph slower trap speed i have taken it off and the other is back on how much do they say pulley's give you or a light drive shaft this is the same thing alot less weight it has to through around someone else should try this. i made 6 runs i will run it next for the last time on this motor setup on the 25th and we will see what i do but after that im swapping my motor its all done and ready just got to get the clutch and light weigt flywheel
