so i love the way the hatch wing looks on the 1982 gt kinda looks like the eleanor ducktail look like this one

so anyone know if i can or has anyone done it ? i would still like to keep the rear defroster though

I believe you can, they should be the same hatch lid.

if your having trouble rounding up the older trunklid/spoiler, steeda makes a wing for 87-93 stangs that resembles a ducktail style. it doesnt look anything like the early 80's models, but its a nice piece.
