Default ford racing BOSS 302 block

has anyone used this block? is it much better than the stock block? ive seen some ads in my magaizines, but havent actually seen anyone use this. also, what kind of hp gains come with this block?

the block is far superior to a stock block...

i know ppl who are using them that are very happy....

the block itself will not produce any additional
horsepower....

but is a great foundation for supporting 500 +

with it being power adder friendly......

thanks for the info. i have a d.s.s.306 longblock, but i was thinking of a boss block. i wasnt aware of how strong the internals were though. when this car finally comes together, it will be supercharged, so i wanted a strong bottom end.
