Default 1993 Mustang throttle position sensor

I have a simple question that hopefully someone can answer. When your throttle position sensor is bad or is going out what would the symptoms of the car be. Please respond a.s.a.p........1993

Most common problem will be erratic idle, revving up when you keep constant pressure on the gas, or cutting off when you keep constant pressure on the gas. Any of these can happen, it's an electrical part and when that signal is interrupted, it'll be an instant reaction from the car.

Sounds like it could be the TPS. If you have a digital voltmeter, you could check it yourself.
