Default enjoyment purpose (respect imports?)

hahahaha i wanted to see what import ppl talk about in their forums about muscle cars and i stumbled on this. they really give kudos to stock fox bodies... apparently you can make them 10 seconds and weigh less than 2,000 lbs with simple mods and cheap prices... i wish it was this easy.... idk if this will come up as a link if not you HAVE to copy it and type it in browser it is worth it. 10 second car? – Importtuner.com Import Tuner Talk Forum discuss the ignorance.....please... i wanna know if im wrong or these ppl are crazy... one is close to knowing what he is talking about but still far off.

yes the boys are missed informed by 1 to many reruns of the fast & the furious...

i wish going 10's was as easy as slapping a 300 shot to stock 5.0....

well you could get away with it once i suppose....

1/8 mile maybe... is that what they are talking about? it is a tuner forum....10 sseconds in 1/8 for a tuner is pretty simple:
1- 5 inch fart can
1- kick ash sound system
1-pair of roof scoops
i believe for a stock civic this would make 10 seconds 1/8 mile

So because the motor is larger it can handle a 300 shot of n20! Hahahaha thats awesome. Guess i dont need forged internals after all! Im going to stop wasting my time here getting the wrong info and sign up over there! lOl

no, no your picture isnt of a fox body... unless you have a fox body it wont work.. your forgetting that they can weigh less than 2,000 lbs... yours is much to heavy youll need the stock internals?

If I have a Mustang GT and a Subaru WRX, am I one of them, or one of us? Now, my WRX is a wagan, I don't have a big wing or a big muffler, and I seem to find great joy in surprising assorted loud, fart-can equipped cars driven by flat-brimmed baseball hat wearing fully-reclined driver's seat little cars with my stock-looking Whippled GT, if that helps you decide.

Your one of us! I really dont mind what someone drives. If you wanna mod up a honda,suby,toyota its cool if thats what you like. I just hate people that are narrow minded or think that because the manufacturer stated that this part adds 15hp,another adds 12 and another adds 20 your 200hp vtec now has 250hp and runs 12's all day long at the track in cool weather!

yah if someone makes an import quick good for them. buut when you dont know anything about cars and think cold air kits are the best available upgrade, thats when i start to hate import drivers.

What I like is how they add a big huge bleacher sized wing meant for downforce... onto a front wheel drive car. Wouldn't that mean they need to put that POS wing onto the front?

And where do they get the idea that a Snapper engine can run 10's with only a bottle too?

Get a Supra... I'd rather get more Nikes.

this must be the fastest car in the world then! check out the hawt tail lights and pimpin rims!

but yeah, very much agreed with the above comments. i don't care if certain people enjoy certain types of cars, but i hate people that try to preach to you about how their preferences are better than yours. anyone find it funny that it's usually import drivers (and polaris riders, for anyone that has a snowmobile ) that are like this? always so narrow minded

yea hitting low 12's maybe crack 11.90's is not to hard i spent maybe a 1g on a block cam heads and all gasket springs stem seals pushrods ect and runing 13s when i get my 275s on hehhe a 125shot on that ya know its fast for hardly any money
