Our local track held midnight madness for the first time last night. Started at 11:00 pm and went till 3:00 am. Pretty much all street cars, imports and domestics, heads up racing with only tree lights and win lights for most of the night. The whole place was packed. Saw some awesome cars. Saw some mustangs get their butts handed to them by imports. I also have a question. A buddy of mine raced me when the times were still displayed. Here is what we ran...

He's got a fox body pretty much stock with 5-speed. We are dead on pretty much the whole way down the track but my mph is alot higher. How is that? I know mph shows how much hp you have, and e.t. shows how well you used it, but it was so close the whole way I don't see how I was almost 3 mph quicker.

Back to the midnight madness thing, our track announced it was going to start doing it every other weekend, and again next weekend. How cool is that? Its only 5 bucks to get in and 5 bucks to race.

Your 330' times were pretty even but by the 1/8 you had pulled away. I'd say your car has more top end than your friends or your friends car is having some issues with timing or fuel at high rpms.
