I know there are tons of threads about s/s/s-upgrades but still couple of questions:
Which would be better buy for 1990 GT, Ford's kit with Bullitt struts, shocks and springs or Bilstein struts and shocks or Koni Reds struts and shocks? The price for each set is about the same here in Europe. My goal is to improve road handling and quality.
Anyone tried Vogtland lowering springs? They lower foxes 1,2 inch and spring rates are: front 459 - 628 lb./in and rear 179 -257 lb./in. Little stiffer than stock but are they too soft for the 1,2 inch drop? The price of these are very competetive (=dirt cheap) here, even compared to Ford's b- or c-springs.
All of those choices are good, although if all are about the same price, I'd go with the Koni. The other struts and shocks aren't adjustable, the Koni's are and that's why I'd go with those. Then you can tailor it how you want it to ride.

Ask me why I ran "only" a 13.54.

Red Konis were on top of my list but then maybe I'm too lazy to adjust them to find out best setting. I haven't found too many Koni red users in these forums. Are they getting outdated? Not even many parts dealers list them on their web sites.
I got Mustang because I wanted a car with V8 engine. I have always loved the sound of american V8 engine and believe me it is something you don't hear here too often. Turbocharged diesel-engines make allmost the same torque nowadays but they don't give the same feel of power and I don't like the smell of diesel. Foxbody Mustang was the best combination of things I like about american cars and price. Here are much more 80's and 90's Camaros and Firebirds available but I liked Mustang better!
