I have a stock 5.0 with a cold air intake. I have a friend who was going to let me have this cobra upper and lower intake. What kind of hp gains usually shows from that? I will also take his throttle body (not sure what size it is). Is there anything that will need to be changed to get it to run right, or is it just and bolt on and go thing?
if he's giving it to you, jump on it. Then when you get better heads, port the lower intake and it will make 300+RWHP with a good cam.

Some friend, giving you a $400 intake that everyone lately wants. You'll get enough power to justify the swap, even more when you get better heads to compliment it.

Ask me why I ran "only" a 13.54.

I know they aren't identical. I have heard that there are a few places where vacuum lines are different. Is it pretty easy to figure out? Is there anything I should know before I do that swap?
thanks i have one more question though, i finished the intake crap and everything else the only thing stopping me now is the power steering pump and ac set-up how the hell does it bolt on to the bracket PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Why did you take the power steering and AC off in the first place?

I just took a lot of pictures when I did my GT40 intake swap. It was really easy figuring out where the vacuum lines went too.
If you know how to take something apart and put it back together then an intake swap is pretty simple.
Regarding the cams with stock heads... Why???
The cam should always come after you get rid of the crappy stock heads. If you have stock heads then all a cam is going to do is sound cool.
