Timing chain cover Well i finally finished my timing chain cover gasket and new timing chain set, well all of it would have been a smooth job until...OH NO i broke a water pump bolt, well its amazing what a little time PB blaster and a torch can do, after about 12 hours of soaking and being heated and cooled it finally came lose this morning around 10:45 thankfully cause the car has to be running tomorrow, bit of advise if anyone wishes to tackle this job and its your first time, make sure your careful with the bolts, unfortunatly you may never now how and when one will break, but to insure myself/yourself for future reapair your best friend is Anti-sieze, every bolt that went back in was coated so this doesnt happen a second time, well hopefully this helps some if any, and remember you will need to change your oil, soon as i dropped the front drain plug the first 2 seconds nothing but coolant came out, coolant will wipe bearing quicker then you can say What!!!!!, so heads up to all that has not have the previlage of doing this job.
