Today was a great day to get outside, and while taking the 2 hours to polish, rub and shine the wheels, what came to mind is how bad some owners let their Draglites get. There's several here in town that may keep them clean but they don't polish them. They're polished aluminum, not chrome. They require hand rubbing to get them to sparkle, even straight water can cause hazing on polished aluminum. I can honestly say mine are the shiniest in my area, I've been asked several times where I got them chromed. Uh, they're not chrome... they're hand polished. Not to sound arrogant but mine are from 1993, and they're in better condition than some who got theirs just a couple of months ago due to the neglect. 15 year old wheels shouldn't look better than brand new ones, in my opinion. So that got me to thinking.
I know there's quite a few here with Draglites so let's see em. Instead of balls out, it's Welds out. Get your Welds out and show em off. If your Welds are dirty or in need of attention, put your favorite polish on em and rub em till they're clean. Dirty Welds are a bad thing, and you always feel better after polishing your Welds.
This isn't a contest, just a way to say who has some good examples of one of the most popular wheels on a Mustang.

Lookin sharp eagle ! I use the power ball (small one) with a drill and blue magic, ever since then I'll never go back to hand polishing. I know what you mean though, my rims when I bought them where pretty ugly and this after the guy told me he spent almost an hour trying to polish them before giving up. Here are some before and after of when I first got the rims and another from last night before I went out cruising with my boys.

I have no idea what he was using, but when I first bought them I polished them by hand with blue magic. It wasn't until about a month or two ago that I finally bought the powerball, my aching fingers have been thanking me since.
