I wouldn't ever run nitrous on my car, just for the fact that I am worried about the old block getting stressed to the point of failure. But I have drove a 82 mustang with a 50 shot wet of N.O.S. and I really enjoyed it. The little extra bump from behind sets ya back a little bit in the seat without making your motor detonate or self-destruct. I wouldn't really go with anything bigger than a 100 shot myself. JMO.

i have good friend who had a 93 (hyper pistons) 160K on the clock....
car had all bolts ons amd gears

raced every weekend hitting with a 175 shot....

when we tore the motor down look like it did when it came from the factory....

the trick is staying on top of the tune.....

if i told you what i'm planning to spray on the new motor you would pass out.....

Say what you gotta say. I'm only here to listen haha. But when I see signs of my 89 motor starting to get pretty wore out, I'm going to put a 500 shot on it and go to the track and see if I can blow it up, which shouldn't be hard to do.

the new combo should hold a 500 shot safely.....

i anticipate spraying 300 as a norm....

now just to figure how to get it to hook and not stand it on the bumper.....

Get some laundry for the back, and some wheelie bars about 3/4 inch off the ground for that problem. Did that sound right? 3/4 inch? I always see the track officials measuring the back of the wheelie bars...

no this year i will be about 15-17 mph from needing to toss the laundry....

i'm fighting adding wheelie bars
the object is to get the car to leave flat only lifting the wheels a max of 6"

I know a guy that ran a 200-250 shot on a stock 90-93 vert for the past 5 years. only going to the track once in a while. but still, thats alot on a stock motor. He got kicked out of the track the last time we went because he didnt have a cage and ran faster than the track would allow a vert to run without a cage.

Ive also been thinking about running a small shot. Maybe 50-100 shot but not sure which kit would be best for me.

Well I see you got the stroker and all...do you have 4 bolt mains? you could probably do at least a 100 shot if its built right. How fast do you want to run in the 1320?

That's a good kit. You gonna have the purge coming out the cowl vent? I love taking pics of mustangs with the dual purge shooting out the cowl. That's pretty cool looking.
