lol..alright now for the one thing that didn't work after it was all put back together....

Prior to taking it all apart all the headlights brake lights tach, etc ...everything worked. So then afterwards put the key in, turned it to the on position, and everything was good until I went to turn turn the turn signal on, left, and than the right. And wouldnt you believe...nothing! No blinky blinky.

We doubled & tripled back and checked the blinker relay behind the glove box door and its hooked up, fuses check out good, and the turn signal switch appears to be alright, the high beams work, and wipers work. The four way flashers work fine also.

On another note, the passanger side window will not work now either. I took the good switch off the drivers side knowing it worked for the drivers side, swapped it to the passanger side plug in (on the drivers armrest) and nothing. Placed it over to the passager side (passanger side armrest) control and nothing. Put it back onto the drivers side and the window for the driver works fine.

Now finally thats it just those two things. I have a pic of two wires hanging down by the hood release....

http://i189.photobucket.com/albums/z...f/100_0324.jpg

While we were putting it together there is no apparent, or obvious place for these to plug into. As for the white one, on the dash out of my 93 GT we looked at it and that one is taped of snug to the wiring harness where as the one on the black LX is dangling freely. I don't think the white one has a function. As for the little black one, maybe.

So any ideas? I'm thinking whatever it is, both the turn signals, and the window are on the same hook up. Or it might just be 2 different issues. I think this problem might need a seperate thread so if I dont get any resolve, I'll do just that later on

You got me on wiring and electrical stuff. That is my downfall.
Anytime I run into an electrical problem, I have to have good ol' dad help me. Give me most engine problems, and I can usually figure it out and fix it. But electrical... not so much.
Reg might have some clue to help you out.

yeah I hear ya. Nuts and blots are just that, easy. My wife has a degree in electrical engineering, but the manuals for this are very vague to say the least, or we just haven't found the right diagram. Oh and here is a pic of my wife keeping me company...
http://i189.photobucket.com/albums/z...f/100_0311.jpg

thats actaully the frame and harness for the white GT, and removing the grey stuff to put in the LX on saturday

And the laptop in the background, lol, with the Anderson sticker on it, doesn't make it run faster lol

You might start a new thread about those wires. That way it should get a little more attention.

Still working, slightly, on the 93 LX and trying to figure that all out. lmao

Anyways, trans for the GT came to the shop yesterdy while i was working on the motor. Again, pics in magazine's don't even compare. The bellhousing alone is like ALL BUSSINESS as far as looks and construction go. I've never seen a bellhousing outside of stock, so yeah, I guess some would think I was easily impressed.

Went to the paint shop late yesterday afternoon and snagged some updated pics of paint. I'll get em on here this evening yet.

Here are the pics of my engine bay as of yesterday. As a side note, the paint and clearcoat are DRY when these pics were taken. IMO, the pics just don't do it justice, rightfully so, as it should be. Some pics are better than others. If it were someone else's car I wouldn't have been shaking as much I don't think lol

The cowl is not the finished product as far as mounting, instead it was put in place just to "go with the flow of the paint" etc. Screens (blk) and white screws later once the wiper arm guts and the like are put back into the underside.

http://i189.photobucket.com/albums/z...f/100_0334.jpg

BTW, none of the paint has been buffed out yet either

It looks top notch (no pun intended). There is something about a white FOX body with a cowl hood that always get's my full attention.

Do you like the smell of the paint???
I wish I could record smell, because I loved walking into my garage in the morning and smelling my fresh paint!

Gotta get me some pics of the stuff your selling too Pete.

lol, aleady got em. When we mocked the hood up to the car we attached them. Now the thing is, and this might be for a later post, but the rubber "C Cups" that cover them, the rubber piece that goes inside the firewall. LRS discontinued them and I cant find them. You can't pull them off stock hinges and re use them....so the question is what exactly is thier function? I dont think anything Really anything other than to keep water out. And if thats the case, I'm not going to sweat it because hopefully I dont get caught in the rain and what not

Thanks Reggie!

I'm going to get them, BECAUSE, just in case when it comes time to rinse the car off, if those arent in there is a little opening inside there where water can get into and hit the back of the dash frame and wiring. Thanks again
