You are probably right about complaining about a lack of a real Hemi! But I really am not impressed with anything Mopar has put out in recent years.

The Magnums are ugly!

My beef with the Snoozer is not just that it is disgustingly slow.....it really isn't all that comfortable to ride in or drive either. We should have gotten the upgraded model with a turbo.....

There are only 2 things that I like about the PT... The body design and it is comfy on the inside...

The body design was a great idea to kinda retro the old mid to late 30's cars but they could have done a lot better. I've said this for the longest time, but with all the retro styling going on, I would LOVE to see someone retro-style the old big fendered cars!

Well, guys.... news on the engine front is looking bleak right now. It is even sadder for the builder. The doctors had nothing good to say in Iowa, so here's the plan.

I have to clean the rest of the "crap" out of the garage this weekend. When the weather is decent next week, I will have the car flat-bedded back to the house. I will get more chances to work on it, if it is here, instead of at the shop on post.

I have enlisted the help of Lance and O to help me re-work the suspension, 5 lug conversion, fuel pump for certain. I will possibly be able to get to the wiring harness, heater core replacement, battery relocate, some of the AC and radiator replacements, etc.

This is where free time plays a factor. I am considering putting my degree on hold until after we finish the move to Cali. I am almost finished with my associate's degree. My current semester is the final one for an associate's.......

I need some input from all of you. I have a stripped bare car that needs to be finished. The engine and tranny/rest of drivetrain are on hold until Kenny returns and is ready to work. He is also the master mind behind relocating the relays, wiring harness, ignition system etc. I am a firm believer that right now I know enough to be dangerous....LOL.

Where would you guys start? Where would you stop and let the time pass? Remember that my speciality is electronics not MUSTANGS!!!

I can splice and dice and solder wiring all day long, but I tend to get lost in the relays and sensors and why they do what they do.

Ok, you guys, work your magic! LMAO

well since you have replace the heater core is the dash out of the car....
are you planing on hiding all of the wiring....

now would be a good time to lengthen the main harness and hide that.....

i would think all the relay would be hidden in the fender well

just something to think about......

Reggie,
Yeah the plans for the relays are inside the fenderwell, using epoxy to secure the mount, so that in the future if one is bad the mount itself is expoxied and the relay slides off the mount.

She's tracking the heater core to

I have to go back through my own thread here because I know I covered the suspension stuff I think the set up is going to look like this;

D Spec Illumina 5 ways
H&R Springs
Max Motorsports (M/M) A Arms
M/M Adj Lowers
Uppers? Suggestions

On the suspension I am kinda going for "bolt on and play" Ultimately, though without having rolled any of the fender lips and stuff I would like to go 17x8 rims up front and 17x9 or 8 to accomadate D/R's (275) I shouldnt have a forseeable problem I don't think

I'm thinking chrome bullitts even though imo, they have been done to death. I would be open to maybe going Steeda Ultra Lites(original) or something from Billitt Specialtes, but I would have to do a bit more looking and # jamming, offset, backspace etc

Off Topic: If there are R's missing throughout my posts, its because my wife gave me the crappy laptop to take with me....anyone see a pattern here?

But I have always likes the 5 star look and these wheels. I think its a choice of not getting the best of both wolds Ie racing and highway use No color spokes though chrome or polised is fine

i'm with you no colored spokes......

It don't mean a thing if ain't got that the bling.....

Default 1 Pair of rims ordered

Ok I ordered a pair of rims for the car. 18x10 Chrome Bullitts for the rear. IF they don't fit I will run them on my '00 GT. But I don't think there will be an issue. Then what we will do is pull one of the 18x9's off of my '00 and just check the fit and clearance, and then order the pair of 18x9 and tires later on. MM&FF put the same set up on thier 93 Cobra (6.3 backspace/ 22mm offset) and ran 275's out back w/o rolling fender lips and all that. This guy in the pic has 18x9 but you get the jist. This is the pic that made my mind up
