1990 Mustang lx 4cyl converted to 8cyl

ok i have a 5 speed 1990 lx thats a 4cyl and i have a doner 1988 gt that is an automatic....will i still be able to use the transmission i have in the lx or no?...

you could use it .....

but it is not advised the 4cyl. tranny is a very weak unit ......

and will not stand up to additional power of the 5.0.....

yea im having a hard time finding a good one that's used so im havta do with that one for now....but thanks for the information
