im looking at buying a new hood before i paint the car, i really like the stalker hood. do any of you have that hood? can i see pics and get any feedback on it? or if anybody has a smillar hood feel free to show it thanks
i only want to see 94-98 with the hood plz
Here is mine. I think it's actually called the Stalker II hood. But on the website they call it the "Ram Air Type II" hood from Cervinis.
I had no problems at all with this hood. Bolted right on.

Yeah, I had the whole car painted and had my body guy put the wing on also. It's best to get ALL your body parts you want and THEN paint.
It cost me $2500, and it came out great. I wish you could record smell because I loved how it smelled.

Well of course the hood and wing I bought seperate, about $600 for the hood and $150 for the wing. I mounted the hood myself and cut the wholes for the hood pins, and he mounted the wing. For a hood like what I got stick with Cervinis! It pays off to get quality body parts. I got the wing a long time ago from some website. I was afraid it would look kinda "ricey" but when you see it in person it actually looks good. I like the hood and wing because they're different.
He charged me $2500 flat, and he even had to fix a couple big dents, including one on the roof of my car where it looked like the hood had come off before...
He's one of the best body guys I've seen. He even cleaned the inside of my car and shined my wheels and tires when he DELIVERED it to me at work.

too bad i dont live in oklahloma! damn it! well i know a bunch of mechanics and ppl who work in the auton indusrty so finding a guy to give me a good price shouldnt be too hard but im most excited for the hood and paint it will be the finishing touch on my resto! in my other thread i posted all the work ive had done since last march and this feb im gettin a rebuild and poting done to heads and intake along with steeda cam
So is mine the hood you were wanting or were you looking at a different one?
Yeah you'll love it after it's painted. I didn't think the red on mine was bad when I first got it, but comparing it to the way it is now... WOW!
It's almost a weekly basis that I wash it. I wax it every other wash. I also like the "duck tail" spoilers for the SN-95.

well i wash mine once a week and wax and claybar it every other month. i have to admit it doesnt look bad for a black car that sat in the desert for 2 years but black is a ***** to keep lookin nice lol yeah i like the stalker hood a little more than the type ll hood
Yeah my first mustang was black with silver racing stripes and I owned 2 black Mazda 323's... so I know what it's like keeping up with a black car. Even the black stripes on mine look like they get dirty even before the red.

Yeah, I Love seeing a black '94-'95 at night and all you can see is the shine and the red horizontal tail lights.

if you do go with a fiberglass hood, make sure you get hood pins. I just had a $4900 mistake because of the fiberglass hood on my 95 cobra flying up. they do look nice but after that I'll never drive a car with a fiberglass hood without hood pins again.
