I went on an explorer forum for my 98 explorer. I asked what controlled the tps since its not adjustable.(IAC obviously) But was also wondering about some advice on vacuum leak possiblities and locations. I got one response in three days and all it said was "IAC?" I would have gotten way more and better responses from this forum, even for the Explorer. Cant seem to beat this place w/ a stick. I love to share my self indulged knowledge w/ other people who need it, but its also nice to have someone elses eyes to point out the things you overlook or havent experienced yet! Thanks to all!
Yeah, I used to go to the Forum on the MM&FF website. I would go days without any response, then when/if I did get a response it would be something dumb or useless.
Although someone on that forum is the one who pointed me to this website, so I guess it worked in a way.
You can even go to other forums and just browse around and see they are not nearly as good as ours!
Thank You AllFordMustangs.com!!!

that is the beauty of this site you can get the answer you need rather quickly and for the most the info is usually accurate ....
and in cases where the info is totally wrong, 99.5% of the members have the maturity to give the correct info without flaming the person who was misinformed....
on a side note i'm never wrong (my wife says i'm f*#$ing know it all) but that an entirely another story......

Just give them a pretty flower to look at and they'll usually keep quiet.

When I saw the thread title to this one, I said to myself "how many times were you told to Google it, or were bashed, or was ignored" Yup, you were ignored and probably because no one knew what you were talking about.
*oh yeah, it is that simple... no woman to pester me*

I guess if I would have asked them about which 44's or 35's to buy I would have gotten an answer. One of the guys had "if it doesnt =16 (4x4) then it aint worth driving". Guess he hasnt driven a MUSTANG, lately!!!!

What that means is I made a decision to keep my sanity and do without a little physical fun than to put up with their hijinks, irritability, moodiness, indecisiveness, irrationality, inability to cap their emotions, plus in the long run I live longer.
I had the once-in-a-lifetime and she's no longer here, or my two kids, and no one else can ever take their place.

And me to. Since I started posting in an organized manner, its really worth the time, effort, and in all actaully turning on my computer to see what advice is handed down. None of which has failed me, and I don't think it will. SO a tY from me to ya'll
I alsp like that I HAVE seen people ask ?'s about one of thier other cars on the site, trucks, SUV's, family sedan. We always have someone to help them without the "hey take it some were else if it aint a stang we dont give a damn" response. Thats shows the quality and character of all of you here!!!
