Notch is my fav and I'm looking for a stallmate for my 05. Found a (seemingly) clean and unmodded 89 Notch 2.3 N/A w/ 80k mi but the guy is asking $2500. Per kbb/edmunds, avg private party resale is ~ $1k.

Is the notch body really THAT rare?

Should I offer the guy $800?

well i got mine for 950 but it needed a few things and mine has about 200k miles if it has a clean carfax it would probably be worth inbetween $2000-$2250 just see if he will take in that area. what year is it and depending how it looks and what it has in the interior mine is full power everything but my power locks dont work and it has a stick post some pics of it and well see.

yes i would say so it looks like its in good condition it even has a map light which is some what rare because they were only put on at the dealership and there were only limited supplys of them.

if your comparing it to mine then yes its worth it since i bought mine for a grand and ive spent about 1500 on it all ready.

You should be able to get that car for around $2000. Then just drive it untill it wont go anymore. Then do your thang.

that notch is def. worth 2000...and if you where to offer him 800 he'd probably take it as disrespect
