1988 Mustang lx t-top for sale...

well, i sold all my project cars since i dont have time or money to build them up. i need a car thats already put together and driveable.

i flipped thru a auto mustang-auto trader and spotted an 88 lx t-top with the vert mirrors.

the info was limited since it was a classified ad, but here they are

113k miles with recent tune up
5speed with new clutch
new brakes
new t-top weatherstriping

white with black fender trim
GT hatch spoiler
tinted windows

mods....pony wheel swap, steeda shifter, & flowmaster mufflers.

hes asking 5600 bux for it, but im not sure its worth the asking price. im usually buying junked foxes and building them up, so i dont know whats a good bargaining price.

any suggestions on what a fair price is?

currently without pony

Seems kinda high. I know there arent too many that are real LX T-Tops but my buddy picked his up for 2500 cert and e-tested. THen again, I picked up mine for 4000 as is, but I also had half the milage. His had 260xxx and mine had 130xxx kilometers.

im still waiting for pics. the owner said he said he would email me some pics within a few days.

i talked to the owner on the phone, and he assured me that the car was in great shape. he said the paintjob was only 2yrs old, and only needs repair around the door handle / lock area. the headlamps and taillights are new from 5.0resto, and the engine bay is spray painted matte black. he also mentioned he had ssbc front brake calipers laying in the trunk as part of the deal

it does seem a bit high, but im still interested. its hard to find a good fox in my area, and ive never found a lx t-top in such good shape
