Some radiator petcocks turn out to close, and some turn in. Depends on the design.

Alrighty then. If it's bright green, it's probably fine. Now if it was brownish green...

Does anyone know where the plug or plugs are that drain the coolant from the engine block? Is there one on each side? I'm getting ready to swap cylinder heads and I learned the hard way the first time that it'd be less messy to drain the coolant before removing the lower head bolts. Thanks!
