Talking what stroker kit is best for a 351w twin turbo

Hi, im building a 351w for my 1989 lx. it is going to be injected, with maybe 40# injecters. the block is out of an 1979 ford. i'm going to make it a roller block. and use all forged internals. what would be a good stroker kit for this twin turbo combination? I plan on using t3-t4 turbos. and i plan on using the stock computer but maybe use a piggy back system or have it flashed. Has anybody done this and how well do they work. I also plan on using aluminum heads but what rockers should i use 1.6 or 1.7 and what cam would you recomend? has anybody done this combination and what were your track times, and horse power? Do you like your set up better than just stroked? for the cam im looking to go no higher than 6500-7000 rpm. will the cam have to be a retrofit since i m converting to a roller motor? thank you.

Let's go in order.

There's many stroker kits to make it into a 377, 383, 393, 408, and 427. There's some that will go even more but they're not recommended for a stock type block like you have. You can get them from:
Bennett Racing
Pro Power
DSS Racing
Keith Craft Racing
Ford Performance Solutions
Coast High Performance
Nowak Racing Engines
Powered By Ford

Aftermarket EFI systems, either piggyback with the factory or a totally complete setup, both work very well. Both are recommended as the factory computer will need assistance to get the most out of the engine.

The rockers will depend on the cam you get, and the cam is the last thing to consider when buying engine parts. Don't worry about it now, get the induction, heads, exhaust, the exact turbo kit, all of that first and then get the right cam last. Everyone is worried about the cam first, you can't get it without having everything first because it depends on everything else.

Talking stroker, boost, what do you think

Thanks for your input i appreicate it. i know there is alot of stroker kits availble but what one would be good for turbos? i know the bigger stroke you have the more torque you get but with turbos they build lots of torque them selves at higher rpms. i know a 408 stroker can run all day long with no problems but how about with turbos? would the block be able to handle that with the t3 t4s. i think the boost would only be around 10psi.+or -.

If it's a stock type block, then a stroker would be plenty and 10 psi would most likely be pushing it to the limit. You might have to limit it to 5-6 psi. Any stroker would work with a turbo.
