This list can be added to at will, if you know of the years before 1983, please add that in.

I knew this list exsited, but does anyone know of a list which further breaksdown the numbers by options, transmission etc?? I know the LX Mustang Registry exists but it looks like it has not been updated in years. Also Marti Auto Works doesn't look like it does that yet for these Fox model years.
Any other ideas. Just curious.

The ID numbers for 91's are wrong.
I have a 91 LX hatchback and my numbers are P41E not P41F like on the list ??

Wow thats alot of yellow 89 gt's running around, never seen one haha. Thought Dark Shadow Blue was more rare then it is, wiching it said the number of those that had the two tone titanium grey as mine did as well.

Thanks for the info.... Neat to see how many 91 LX 5.0 convertibles were made and how many in each color.:)

Mustanggt.org has a few production numbers other than these.
They only have total GT production, not any other non-GT Mustang, and not by exterior color, or interior color, or transmission, or options, etc.

I do believe they break down by transmission.
It is "Percentage of Registered GT's by Transmission". In other words, that doesn't include non-GTs and it doesn't include any GTs not registered on that 'site.

hate to bring a dead thread out of the abyss but i was wondering if they ever got to breaking down the production numbers a bit more , like with auto and standard trannys?

are these lists supposed to be 100%? i knew my car had been repainted bright lapis blue but never bothered looking at the original color code till now. it's a 90 gt hatch and shows the original color "mm" or ultra blue; but the list shows only notches and convertibles were made in ultra blue.

No, the lists are not 100% accurate.
