i got me a 1995 cobra svt, i found out more bout it after i got it from the first owner, he said he put bigger fuel injectors, use to have a chip, he put a v6 rear end under it, and he also put a 4 cylinder trans in it.......i drove it and its pretty fast, i boutght me a trans three days ago it was out of a 86 gt, and put a short trow shifter in it to....but wat do ya'l think bout the onthin stuff that is done to it?
That doesn't make sense why he would switch to a v6 rear end and a 4 cyl. trans... The v6 rear end doesn't come stock with the trac-lok, and the 4 cyl. T-5's aren't as strong.
That just doesn't make sense why he would change those like that.

Sounds like he pulled everything worth money that wouldnt be missed and sold the car for normal price... Or he broke evrything and cheaply fixed and sold.
its a true svt cobra i get parts for it all the time and i looked at the vin...and he said he did all the cuz the v6 rear end is lowered gear stock and gets off the line faster and the 4 cyl teans cuz its stronger idk bout tht....but now i got a 85 gt trans in it and it seems like it is low gears in it?

have you had you car check my a reputable mechanic
i would highly advise it
there is no 4cyl trans stronger than v8 a trans...
same thing with rear......
do yourself a big favor have the car checked out asap.....

If a 4 cylinder trans is stronger than our v8 trans' then we're all playing the wrong game here...
And the 6 cyl rear end would have the same basic gearing as the v8 but it wouldn't have the trac-lok.
Hopefully the guy is just plain full of sh*t and hasn't actually changed anything on it...
