Unhappy Issues with v6 to 351w Brackets.

Can I use the alternator and power steering bracket off my v6 or do I have to find some off of the 302? Anyone know where? If I bought them off ebay it would be over 150 bucks and thats insane! Can I order the alternator bracket off summit for twent bucks? Or just go with the stock? I will have to buy a crank shaft pulley off of a 302, Correct? and Do I need the belt tensioner off the 302?

You will need brackets for a 351, stock or not stock.

I have a v6 and all the brackets. Now clarify me this... If I was to buy a 302 alternator bracket, 302 crankshaft pulley, spacer for crank shaft and the swap bracket for the power steering. Would I be set to go on the belt set up? Or do I need the belt tensioner? I'm trying to get this to work on my 351w. If someone would give me there number I would be glad to call and ask questions.

You need 351 brackets. Period. The 351 is taller and in terms of the brackets, it's also wider than a 302. Because of the higher deck height, that spreads the bracket mounting holes further apart.

So if I get the 351w alternator bracket, and use the v6 alternator cause its serpentine. I could buy the swap bracket for the power steering. Get the 302 crank pulley and use the spacer with the 302 water pump and all my pulleys will line up with the belt?
