Hey everyone, quick question about my taillights. I bought new lens kits, and was wondering if anybody has repainted the reflective silver inside of the housings that surround the bulbs. If so was it just regular silver paint? Thanks for your help!!!!

Wow, that seems like a lot of trouble to go through.
Why not just buy a new pair from ebay for 40 dollars?

I doubt anyone's ever done that, I don't see anything wrong with restoring what you have though.
I also doubt regular paint would do it, go with the heat resistant version because bulbs get rather hot.

I used Paint from Eastwood that was designed for the Tail Light Housings.

Thanks for your help.....I bought a can of "chrome" paint from my local auto parts store. I sprayed the housings, and they really shine, I can almost see myself in them. I couldn't seem to find paint specifically designed for taillights. I'll get the lights back together and see how they look. Thanks again for your help guys.

Check Eastwood next time as they have all the specialty paints.
