Sounds like it's time to see if you are getting the voltage you need in the ignition circuit. It could be a bad fuse link. I'd grab a shop manual for an 84-85 and start checking the appropriate circuits for proper voltage. A bad voltage regulator won't cause it to not get spark. Low or no voltage to the coil, distributor, etc. will cause no spark. It's a little easier to use a shop manual for reference because it'll tell you exactly which wires to check. It could be a short to ground or an open circuit like a fuse link wire. Autozone can also check your module for you to rule that out.
