Sounds like it's time to see if you are getting the voltage you need in the ignition circuit. It could be a bad fuse link. I'd grab a shop manual for an 84-85 and start checking the appropriate circuits for proper voltage. A bad voltage regulator won't cause it to not get spark. Low or no voltage to the coil, distributor, etc. will cause no spark. It's a little easier to use a shop manual for reference because it'll tell you exactly which wires to check. It could be a short to ground or an open circuit like a fuse link wire. Autozone can also check your module for you to rule that out.

Well guys after I posted that last post I just got my electrical bag out (I hate to mess with wires expecially if they aint nice and neat) turned my key over and got out the test light started at the ingnition box the plugs were not to clean but I was gettin power from the switch to box so I checked the coil wow what do you know I got power so I tried to start it its gettin fire now so I guess the plugs were just dirty needed cleaned and wasnt gettin good connection but somehow when I tried the different dizzy before I pulled it out I didnt pay attention to where it was pointing so I got to get no. 1 to tdc and drop my dizzy back in but my buddy pulled my plug wires off (why I dont know) but I never paid attention to my firing order I know the 302 and 302 HO is different but does that count for and early 80's 302 I dont know if it is a HO or not if it can be so if someone can help me out on that I would greatly appreciate it (REGGIE Where You At) anyone that can answer it I would be happy to hear. Thanks Guys!

302 HO is the same firing order as 351 from 85 on. That's 4bbl only for 85. Flat tappet HO's same as older 302/289. It'll probably still fire if the firing order is mixed up, just run like crap.
