Default New Gauge Location

got bored a moved my 2 inch sunpro temp gauge im putting a new gauge in my pod..i had to modify my cluster also which sucked... looks cool though.

also will a temp gauge works as a trans temp gauge? whats the normal operating temp/too hot on an aod with a trans cooler?

you a need trans temp gauge a regular one will not work.....

normal operating temp 150*-200*

also unless you are running a transbrake there is no reason to run temp gauge on a stock aod....

not sure if its stock..it barks second gear pretty good, and it has a small stall in it...i do plan on a trans brake later down the road

sounds like it has a shift kit.....

if you are planning a t-brake then go ahead with gauge.....

You need a dedicated trans temp gauge.
The normal operating temp is rather broad, depending on what's been done to it. Higher stall converters will make more heat due to the slippage, mine with a 2800 stall speed and manual valvebody runs around 150, when it gets higher than that I can hear the converter start a 'shhhhh' when it's slipping.
