What shifter do you like the best? I want to get one but not sure. I know there is a variety and would like to get what will do the best. Any other names I don't have on the poll that are worth it, let me know

I personally would not change from my pro 5.0
unless really new and exciting comes i long....
beside the pro 5.0 doesn't miss 3rd gear like other shifters i've had ....
thats right the shifter missed 3rd gear .....Not me
i have heard good things about the UPR Blue Thunder shifter......
I had a pro 50 in my last mustang and didn't realize how much the stock one sucked until I got my new mustang. I was thinking of going with the pro 50 but I've heard of many people going to the mgw's from pro 50s and tri ax's because their so versatile. I test drove a car with the tri ax and liked it even more than my pro 50 because it was an even shorter smoother shift. the smoother part could have been my transmission having problems but I don't know.
I have to vote for the Tri-Ax. It's the one I have now, and the only one I've ever tried. It's ok, it isn't what I thought it would be like, but it's DEFINITELY better than the stock mooshy shifter, and I haven't missed 3rd yet!
If I had to choose a different one, I'd go with the MGW.

I curious to see how this poll plays out. I'm in the market right now for a new shifter, and since I'm new to Mustangs, I'm reading all I can. From an outsiders point of view... I'm totally lost at this point. I personally like the appearance of the UPR Rockcrusher, but if its no different (or marginally better) than stock, then I don't see the point.
I've been leaning toward the MGW, due to the incredible reviews I've seen so far in terms of feel, adjustiblity, and quality. But let see how the poll turns out, and the coresponding feed back.
i have a MAC on mine. only one ive ever used. i like it. and i think it wasn't that expensive either. i just notice that the shifter bolts (where the top piece meets the bottom piece; if that makes sense) comes loose from time to time. but i havnt put lock washers on it yet or anything like that.

I went to the track last Sunday, and met a guy with a mostly stock '94 GT and he had the MGW shifter. That shifter was so smooth and would just click so effortlessly into gear.
I didn't get MUCH time with the MGW but from what I inspected it was better than my Steeda...
