Thats too broad of a question.
Whats the max possible HP?
What kind of heads? Cam? Carb?
If its a "stock" motor you still need to know the cam specs and some kind of Casting # from the heads. Then there will be some people that can give you some idea of what it will be putting out.

The 460 ford big blocks will make what ever power you want them to make! They make big HP, big torque, and they have been for years. Its all about what you want, and how much your willing to spend.

They will exceed 800,900, 1000+ HP with the right parts, not out of the norm for a drag built 460 BBF to make those numbers.

If you running a carb, then pretty much motor mounts, headers, the right tranny, and maybe a bigger hood for top clearance should get you pretty close.
