Hell no it's not pink...it's orange thank you very much...
It's Central Machinery Orange...bought it from Harbor Freight for 128.00.... I have to use my cell phone camera for now until I get a digital camera and then I'll have pics and video of the car for a change... bearings wont be here till Saturday...maybe Sunday morning. I'm getting them from O'reilly's I found out they carried the Clevite bearings I wanted for less than Summit's cost. I will also have the new head this weekend too.
And yes, I am getting the 77's...that's the only way to go buddy. Saturday is going to be the big day for part-getting time. Christmas all over again...YAY!
First off, I want to give a shout out to Prestige Mustang down there in Georgia... You guys rock! Love the service I got..
I ordered a head and rear bumper extension ground effect from Prestige today... Couldn't be happier with the customer service they had. Parts will be here in about 4 business days. Total cost was 230.00. Shipping is what killed me on the head, it's coming UPS and they said it would be like 50 something to ship it to Missouri. Got a 90 day guarantee on the head against cracks and defects, they said it was probably coming off a running motor so it should be good. I'll have it sent to the machine shop and get a full rebuild, and then have the valves ground down a little bit to make up for the milling of the head. After that, it should be smooth sailing throwing the rest of the motor up on the stand and starting the rebuilding process. Does anybody want to be a good pal and wish me luck? Thanks for the support guys!

It is Orange... But even if it was pink I wouldn't care cause they make and sell spray paint by the millions every day. Tough guys wear pink...NOT hahahaaaa
Well it's off a running motor I was told. Looks like the typical 5.0 mustang head. Doesn't look bad at all, forgot to snap a pick of it. Will do tomorrow for sure. It did have a slight bit of grease and rust on it in the water ports but it's going to be cleaned up anyway so it really doesn't matter. I been working 14 hour days for the past few weeks or I would still be on here like all day long
