Friday is D-Day, as we have come to know. (Chip Foose style) I will have my video camera set up on a stand in the garage and probably at least 10 minutes of the first start-up and drive on there. I will have the video uploaded by saturday, I ordered parts today and should be here Friday at 5.30.
Remember, I have a free digital camera I inherited from a friend and it's clear... You will be able to see it's really orange hahaha
You just keep telling yourself that buddy...

I just dropped the transmission and the rest of the exhaust out from under the Mustang. Tomorrow is bath day, I'm going to crawl under it and scrub scrub scrub... Spider webs and dust has piled up on all the underside of the car. Friday is when the motor and transmission will be going in as a unit. I had to order an output shaft seal for the Tremec. Saturday will be test drive day, and Monday it will be driven 150 miles to Kansas City Missouri and back just to make sure everything is good and not leaking. Could have been running now if I hadn't messed with that nut driver for a primer rod lol. But anyway, I'm off to bed in a bit here so stay tuned! See ya guys.
So I got my motor and tranny in tonight. Everything is smooth sailing here on out, except for one thing. WHY DIDN"T YOU GUYS REMIND ME TO GET VACUUM LINES???!!!!! HAHA no biggie I'll just have to go to the parts store tomorrow and get some. Here are some pics of the car as it sits now...
I hope you all have enjoyed this as much as i have...
Well it could be running right now. It's all finished. I went to O'riellys and got more oil, vac line and a serpentine belt that I had thought measured right. Got home and the belt is the wrong size... So have to wait till tomorrow for it to run.
Another quick question... My lifters have bled off will that be a problem when I go to start it?
I am going to start it here in about 45 minutes. I have to bolt up the exhaust, refill the tranny, and put my driveshaft in. I am really nervous hope everything goes well...
