Thank you all for staying with me through this thread and build time. It has been very fun and I have enjoyed every minute of it. Motor is doing fine, still got 50 miles on it. I have gotten lots of comments on it at the gas station and most of the places i have been....

I give for a perfect example of a budget build....

So when are we going to the track to see what it will do......

I will probably go to the track when I have about a thousand miles on it. I am going to town to get it dyno'd and figure out if everything is good... She sure sounds healthy for what it is. Can't wait to drive it tomorrow! Woo hoo..

I'll get a final price list tonight. If I had to guess, I would say 3200.00 invested in everything but I really couldn't tell.

Sweet ride! I have a 306 in my 82 GT and it's an absolute beast...plenty of power, lots of fun to drive and when you can eliminate all of the non-essentials in the engine bay, everything on the engine really stands out. Great job and I hope you have lots of fun with her!

I have a full list of all the parts it took me to do this, but I left it at work today. Will have it tomorrow for those of you who want it. It was a really fun thing to do and cant wait till I get to do it again. (reg said he was buying parts so just email him with your lists)
