Default Made a decision and took to it........

Hello all....

So its taken me awhile to make up my mind. I decided to ahead with doing the mods to my already paid for 1985 GT (80,000 miles) verses buying a new Cobra and having a car payment. My other hobby being firearms took precedent over the last year due to the political change in our beloved country. But now I'm back to foucusing on having a little fun with the car. Have had my 85 for 15 years now. Have wanted to do a supercharger from the time I got the car but being young and having no real money prevented my dream from materializing. Now - well .... still single and 13 years into my career ... time to play! So to kick off my endevor I have been reading this and that and talking with the right people. Procharger it is! But I have a desire to do this thing right. Can have all the power in the world but its useless if you can't control it. That brings me to "phase one" -- address the suspension. With guidance from Josh and Lonnie at Stangsuspension.com .... I commited and placed my first order.

- Bilstein Front and rear strut / shock package
- Steeda sport springs
- Steeda zinc plated full length subframe connectors
- MM caster camber plates
- Ford Racing front control arms
- Stangsuspension street control arm kit (upper & lowers)
- Eibach anti-roll kit ( front and rear sway bars)
- Polyurethane spring isolators ( front and rears )
- Prothane offset rack bushings
- MM solid motor mounts

Had just replaced my clutch with a Centerforce clutch (less than 100 miles.) To help with that I also ordered

- Pro 5.0 shifter
- MM aluminum clutch quadrant
- MM Clutch cable firewall adjuster

So with this I begin. Want to say thanks to Josh and Lonnie at Stangsuspension.com -- figured after the first couple of hours talking to me on the phone they would have told me to just get on the internet and take a blind stab at it .... but they didn't -- they were great to deal with, knowledgeable and extremely helpful.

Good luck with the build.....

I agree with doing the suspension first, it won't be much good without getting it to the ground. All of those parts sound good to me.
