Default Checking Casting Numbers

I decided to pull my valve covers to clean them off since I had some free time and started looking at the casting numbers on my intake...(C5AE-9425-M) I couldnt find any info on the intake casting numbers but does anyone know what it came off from? I understand the first part C=6 so 1965, A=Ford, E=Engine. Also where would my casting numbers be on my heads I dont see them? Would they be up under where I cant see unless I remove them? Thanks!

Intake is for a '65 289. If the entire longblock is a vintage '65 289, the head engineering number and date code should both be on the top side of the head, beneath the valve cover.

Nothing special about the intake, other than it being for a 4V instead of 2V. It's the low-performance version.

The E0AE-D3C block is nothing special either. Just your typical early '80s, non-H.O. 302. It was cast August 28, 1981 (1H28). If you got the serial number (last eight of a VIN) from the rear, just below where the head bolts on, I could probably tell you in which vehicle it was originally installed.

The head casting number will be in the underside of the intake port. Have to remove it from the block to see.
