I just checked. The last time mine was set while on a dyno, it was set at 43psi. Now, after I did my set up, with 43psi, I'm still running a tad rich. With that said, I just got back from having my car smogged today. It would have failed just sitting at idle. My hydro carbons were about 900ppm. 300ppm would be probably the highest you would want so they don't destroy your cats. It should be lower then that. My buddy was telling me it could be from any number of things, but those readings could be from too rich or too lean. The only thing we do know is too much fuel is left going out the exhaust and combusting in the cats. Whether its the air/fuel ratio, ignition components not working properly, valves staying open too long allowing more fuel to enter, who knows. This is going to be my next wild goose chase. I'm going to toss out my bosch spark plugs and switch to NGK's. Then get a tune done to make sure the air fuel ratio is set properly and have it retested. If its still too high, I don't know what I'll do then. All and all, we got my car to pass CA smog. Helps to know people
