I'm so happy I just wanted to say that I FINALLY have my car in the shop. We used Federal taxes to pay off some bills and go on a trip last week to Las Vegas that I promised my wife.
The deal was that when we get our state taxes that I get my Rear end rebuilt. So I just dropped off the car to have it all done. I'm having the Trac-Loc rebuilt and Gears installed. Its $800.00 total for Gears, rebuilt Trac-Loc, all new bearings, seals, Redline fluid, speedo gear, and labor. The whole "sha-bang".
I'm so freaking stoked, it will be ready tonight but I have to pick it up in the morning cuase I get off work at 11pm. I cant wait I feel like a kid right now. Hello good times bye bye traction.

Like they say. "dont fear the gear" Funny thing is that's what the guy at the shop told me also. I dont care about the gear. I was just leaning to the 3.73's becuase of the traction issue. I'll just ease her off the line "I do most the time anyway" then hammer on her! Besides with my mods I need all the help I can get. Hopefully I will be doing this to other cars more oftenBye Bye

I love them. Picked it up this morning. Since I could not get back to the shop until the next day he took her out and did the heat cycles for me. I was stoked. I got there and he wanted to take me for a spin so we both agreed that its all good (no whining) and right when he startes to pull out the shop a Sheriff cruises by and just stares at us. That cop pulled up to the next 4-way stop and just sat there all by himself looking out his side view mirror at us waiting for us to pull out. It was funny.

Good stuff, it helps to get differing opinions on this subject because alot of people have way different thoughts on 4.10 gears. I really don't see the problem it's after 4.10's that things get interesting on the highway.
