Exclamation Is this gasoline still good?

I have a 90 5.0 that I have not driven in about 5 months. The last time I drove the car I had half a tank full of gasoline. I read once that gasoline goes bad after 3months and I also asked a friend of mine and also said that gasoline goes bad after a while, however my brother keeps telling me that nothing happend to the gasoline. I would like to know if anyone out there really knows what's true and what's not.

It should still be good, but probably wouldnt hurt to put some good high octane in it.

Gas definitely has a shelf life, it doesn't last forever. Being it's 5 months, it may not hurt but don't expect it to be like a fresh tank. I might put in some fresh to minimize the separation of the gas.

Yep it should be fine. If I leave any of my cars sit for awhile I will ad some sta bil into the tank just to be on the safe side.
