Anybody here have a good / bad experience with the rubber quarter window covers for the foxbody GTs?

I've seen them on various sites and it says the covers are put over the existing moldings and held on by adhesive.

I have seen cars with them before. It's a lot better to go with the replacement, of course. But, it's an easy fix for a nasty looking molding piece. I don't know how long they stay in place with that adhesive.
