Exclamation Valve clearence? AFR 1402 Heads and TFS1 cam

pretty much just need to know that I'll have valve clearence.

Stock bottom end
AFR 165 heads (1402)
TFS1 cam

Best and safest way to find out is use the clay. We can't guarantee a right answer on the, not knowing pushrod length, installed height of the valves, or even if the block has been milled...

I was talking to a guy from AFR and he said the stock springs are plenty capable of the TFS1.

The clay as in clay that you put on the valve in between it and the piston and then put your motor together all besides the lower and upper intake and spin it a few times and then tear it down again and see how far the clay is compressed.

When you say stock springs do you mean the "stock" springs that came with the afr heads or the stock springs on the factory heads?

"stock" in this case I'm refering to the factory AFR springs, not OEM E7 springs.

And someone from AFR got back to me saying the their stock springs are rated to .600” lift

Then you should be fine with the springs you have now. I have a TFS Stage 1 cam too and I will just get the TFS valve spring upgrade kit. You should be fine.

BTW, did you understand what I said about the clay?
