Default Summit Racing- no blocks?
I was looking on the summit racing website for a 302 block but they don't seem to have any? I used to see them for $299 then it went up to $499 now they don't even show them. Maybe I'm looking wrong but I have yet to see them, could anyone point me to where I could buy a stock block besides summit racing? Latemodel restoration has it but its out of my price range, my budget for the block only is up to $700.

I wanna bore it out to get me my 306... not much but I like it.

why not just pick up a good core/used one if you are gone to bore anyways.

i could not agree more check local craigslist.....

i know here in central florida there is always blocks/complete motors for sale....

The only ford block at summit racing is the new Boss block almost $18K.

Yes yes yes... Go to the junkyard and pick one up for next to nothing and have it bored and cleaned up and even after all the machine work it would probably be less than half the price of a new one...

Used blocks are almost better than new ones because they have been "broke in" and work hardened and all that good stuff...they call it "seasoned blocks"....

that block is a littke over $1600

and it is a very good block not a dart but close

actually the 302 boss block is $1700 at summit I 've had my eye on it for a while I live about a mile from the one in georgia ,to close I'm going broke I,ve got to move
