I know Camaros had a T5, but will they bolt up to a ford bellhousing? Will the input shaft or output shaft work for a Ford drivetrain? |
The Gm T5 will not bolt up.....
if memory serves me right the GM unit has a longer tail shaft...
regardless it won't work.....
The GM case is canted twards the drives side as well compared the straight up Ford case. (’93 and newer GM WC T-5 use the Ford case and bolt pattern)
The tailshaft is different. the GM shifter is at the end of the tailshaft and the Ford is a few inches twards the main case.
Input shafts are not swapable between different gearsets. The length is different and the pilot bearing diameter is probbaly different as well.
The clutch splines are different.
