I picked up my moms LX vert this weekend to swap the rear end gears out and on the ride back to Valdosta I noticed the airbag light kept blinking and in no particular order. Sometimes it would blink once then not blink again for 10-15 minutes, then blink for 5 minutes and stop. Im just curious as to what this could be(i dont have my code reader down here either so..). The car has been back on the road for almost 3-4 months after being down for almost 2 years for paint work. My dad painted it because it needed paint, not accident induced paint work. The front end was never removed during paint. The battery was disconnected for several months and battery was replaced before regular driving was resumed. Im not real familiar with the air bag system so just looking for some input.

I have a 1990 vert and my airbag light comes on and off as it pleases. there are certain things that i just ignore (I know someones going to tair me up for saying that). My guess on mine is that its just the sensor and i would say the same thing for you as well.
