What power steering fluid to use?

Hey just wanted to know what power steering fluid I need to use for the 5.0 and how much it takes. I've also heard something about using Tanny fluid for the power steering pump...is that possible?

I've heard it's basically the same but i buy royal purple power steering fluid for my car. You'll have to fill it up, start the car and turn the wheels to the left and right, not full lock though, and keep adding fluid till it hits the fill line.

you would need to look it up to see what your car need. my 2001 needs automatic trans fluid for the power steering. im pretty sure your car also would need it but i would check just to be sure
