Pics and a write up to follow... Clayed, Polished, Waxed the Fox today - looks amazing!
Best of all was an impromptu pinstripe removal: Pins The Fox looks freakin' amazing without them on there!!
Got some news from the speedshop that the car had been painted - possibly a fender replaced... He felt the miles were orig, so that's a plus - but we're very proud owners and will now give this car the home it deserves... We're restoring it slowly - but completely to a Feature car - it's former glory before it was defaced...

Well, we went top shopping.... and door panel shopping - the upholstery place is going to redo them as they were supposed to be...
The first place we went to wanted - get ready..... $1400 for the top installation... my brother in law said "well he hand stitches everything...." I said "I don't care if he uses his toes.....".... I almost dropped the F-Bomb right there!!!
Since Garry wants the white top this year... I went ahead and ordered the very expensive Weathersheild HD cover because we do not have a garage and the white top is going to be a pain in the ass to take care of....
Owning two is so much more expensive!!!!

LOLOLOL... "if he uses his toes"... And go ahead and drop a couple on him. You know you want to.
Go ahead and get the best stuff if you're going to keep it.

I was shocked, to say the least... Anything else the guy said after that was a complete blur.
There's a few more places I want to check out before Garry gets the top (not the $1400 one...)
The second place we went to was very helpful but - the shop was a mess (much like the first) and I can't imagine the car being there while he does the door panels and top for "less than a week".... There was a 7-Up there, with plywood leaning against the mirror... I almost said something but then thought I better keep my mouth shut.
I mean, how come you can't be great AND organized???

I had to hear "Do you think I could win a car show?" I think I have a monster on my hands...
And Reggie - he's a lurker, a bit shy... I'll probably be posting any questions he has... This one is really his... yeah - well... it is.... I've been thinking about making mine the daily driver... I just can't imagine parking my car in the lot for doctors visits...
We went outside tonight to really go over the car... it has 52,933 miles and looking under the car - extensively... it's amazing, you can still see the yellow undercoating... a bit dirty... but lifted the hood to take a good look... looks beautiful, I'll get some pictures tomorrow night.
It's going to a local performance shop here Friday AM - that only works on Mustangs to get all the fluids changed, etc... I am sure Alfredo will try and talk me into something to boost power... he always tries...
At least Garry has his own car for the Whiskey Cafe meet...
Going to Valley Performance? I am good friends with Steph who works there in her spare time and i've heard great things about that place. they are going to be helping me with my hood pin install soon. I just need to get off my butt and order them
Congrats on the ride Judi. Now the question stands, which one will you bring to Whiskey on the 20th?
Hi James!!! We brought the car there...... but we're bringing it to our friends shop this weekend.
We're hoping to bring both on the 20th! We have my brother and friends coming with us so it should be a lot fun!! I am looking forward to meeting everyone!!
