We've decided to do all the mechanical stuff we want done to the car this year - and next year get the new top....

So - Garry's biggest complaint is the ride... we're thinking we need shocks and springs?

We're not looking to lower or race - we want a comfortable street ride.

Any advice??

It's a little rough... I mean, we know it's not a caddy... but the ride seems not as comfortable as it could be...

Also - I want to replace the headlight bulbs when we replace the plastic housings... I don't want to do any extra wiring, etc - what bulbs would be good to get in there?

for the head lights you want

sylvania silverstar headlight bulbs you can get them at any autoparts store......

here are several choices for springs.....

i highly recommend having subframe conenctors installed it will ride and handle like a different car....

That sounds like a normal LX convertible ride to me. To soften things up, you could also get the Strange 10 way adjustables. Then you could have both ways at the turn of a knob. I think they're $65-$70 each for the shocks and $110 for the struts.

The Sylvania Silverstars look a lot better than the stock lights, and really work with clear light lenses.
