By doing that you will completely take the value of it being a real 7up car directly to ZERO.....
But its your money & your car....

Do you have the buck tag behind the radiator? Front right look down in there... you should see a metal tag like 7-UP Bill posted!
We were built in April and have one for our 93 Feat!! That tag was part of an exciting find for us!!
I can't wait to see some pics!! I'd have to do a restore if all the signs are there...

i looked but not for to long the raine came in.but i know it is every pic i have seen of these cars it looks like mine but mine is red due to a paint job.honestly i realy did not want a convertable i wanted a hatch lx but for a grand how could i say no
I understand... the price was right! If it helps - I never wanted a convertible... but now that I've driven one - I will probably always have one. You guys got me hooked... it's all your fault!!
Best of luck whatever you decide to do... maybe you might consider selling it to someone who will restore it? Maybe you can get some more cash to buy what you want? Just a thought...

I keep tabs on prices of '90 LE's. Real nice versions are going for upwards of 20K now. These are pristine examples I'm referring to. They are only going to go higher. My car is highly modded and the company that inspected it for my insurance said it's worth 25K. Just food for thought. Please don't post and say I'm nuts, my car isn't worth that, blah, blah, blah. These people were professional auto inspectors hired by my classic car insurance company.
