Default Wheel size opinions 17's or 18's on a Fox Body

this is a quick opinion question......

Which size wheels do you like better 17in or 18in on foxbodies?

also if you have pic......please share

My dad had a 90' with 17's and it was stunning.

17's dont fill up the wheel weld.....leaving too much space

Then you lower it Correctly, and get a better look and handling.

yea you are right 89 coupe.....i must agree.....but i like the s style saleens and im thinkin about putting them on my lx....so i need all the opinions i can get......what do you guys think about 10th anniversity wheels on a maroon....hatch lx

I like 17's the best, but I saw this car and think these 18's don't look bad at all. It's a toss up for me. I believe the guys name is Goodson on here if you want to see the bigger picture. The trick is to keep th width the same so there are no clearance issues.

the mustang i just bought came with 17s 255/40/17 all the way around.the time that i did get to drive it befor i put it in the shop it was good other then a little rub when turning real sharpwheel-size-opinions-17s-18s-fox-body-bo-183.jpg

Regardless of rim size if you don't have the car lowered about 2" it will look bad, Ford really was snoozing on the ride height..I have 17s on my Cobra, 2" drop and 255/40/17 Michelin Pilot sports, I have a great set of 18s on my Saleen, but the car is getting it's 408, so I can't share a pic
