I really don't think my post qualified as a "cat call" or whistling........I used the only smiley I could find that was fitting to tell a lady that she's attractive. And I didn't comment/pursue it beyond that!
I've worked with/for women in most of my jobs, I've ridden motorcycles w/ them (and have gotten outridden by a few), and have had all the usual day to day contact with members of the opposite sex that happens in life..........I have NEVER once in my life ever disrespected a lady or whistled/made cat calls at one. If I seem a little defensive about it, it's because I do get that way if I'm stereotyped into a category that I definitely don't belong. If the consensus of everyone thinks that my comments qualified as cat calls/whistling, then I will take my demerits like a good boy! lol

Here's the deal: We've had other females leave the site over oogling and various forms of harassment. We ask that all members respect each other - as you would want your sister or mother or elders respected. If you don't care how they are treated, perhaps this isn't the place for ya to hang yer hat (not directed towards anyone in particular)... we're a family board.

Well to be real honest, I'm used to it. Its pretty much expected. And I usually just take it as a compliment. Sometimes I think it means that I'm not being taken as seriously when I want to talk seriously about cars. But hey it takes a lot to offend or piss me off. So as long as there aren't any 'hey girl when you goin let me tap that ...' then I'm straight with it. and FYI I have had 4 hot girls in my mustang, lol. Can't have ugly ones, now can we?

well you guys have some good points. What would I need with 3 girls in the cobra considering that I am a girl?? I LOVE riding bikes but man there is nothing like drivin my cobra. I agree about the accident thing too. I could possibly die on a bike...or get seriously hurt.. And I have to say that there is NOTHING sexier than the sound of a kenne bell. Oh goodness.

Again, go with the Cobra & if you can afford both, then get a bike as well..........nothing matches the exhilaration of laying a bike over through a curve at 120 mph!

You guys are crazy. Since I'm still in school, getting both isn't really practical. I hate being in debt so whatever I get, I'll pay it off and then buy the other. I still can't decide. I love riding, especially in the mountains. But the scream of a blown cobra is like none other.
