Default Paint code on a 1988 Mustang GT

I have a 1988 gt that has been painted several times so i am not sure of the original color but i would like to find out. i tried searching the site for paint codes but i didnt turn up anything useful. If some could post a link to a thread that would be great.

or if you can tell from the VIN its... 1FABP42E7JFXXXXXX

THANKS for any help
