Just started cleaning up my engine bay trying to get the tar undercoating off that was sprayed back in 83 and has seem to not only get everywhere possible but has manged to just about weld its self to the metal I have a 25OO PSI pressure washer and that doesn't even work I've been using gasoline and a scrub brush and it seems to be working with a alot of elbow grease (and I emphasize ALOT) its going to take forever though anybody have any better suggestions?

heat gun/propane torch and scrapper

tryed the torch thing only problem with that idea is that I ran out of gas for my torch trying to get on inside pannel clean

if you are close to a harbor freight they have a nice heat gun kit for less than $20.00

no where near close but will drive to the only one I know of around me if it will save me time thanks for the help
